StrimoIPTV on Firestick: XCIPTV and IBO Player Pro Setup

XCIPTV is one of the two players StrimoIPTV names for the Amazon Fire TV Stick, Fire TV and Fire TV Cube; the other is IBO Player Pro. This guide walks through IPTV on Firestick from start to finish: what XCIPTV is, the two ways to install a player, signing in with your StrimoIPTV login, and what to do if the TV guide stays empty.
What XCIPTV and IBO Player Pro are
XCIPTV and IBO Player Pro are player apps, made by their own developers. A player has no channels of its own: it signs in with a provider's login and shows what that login opens, meaning the live channels, the on-demand shows and films, and the TV guide (EPG).
StrimoIPTV has no app of its own. It supplies the subscription, and you choose the player. On Fire TV devices, the setup guide uses one of these two:
| Player | Where it comes from | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| XCIPTV | The Fire TV app store, or Downloader with an APK link from the team | Set by its developer; check before installing |
| IBO Player Pro | The Fire TV app store, or Downloader with an APK link from the team | A one-time payment to its developer |
No player licence comes with a plan, and it's paid to the app developer, not to us. Both players accept the same login, so you can try one and switch to the other without changing your subscription.
What you need before installing IPTV for Firestick
- A Fire TV Stick, Fire TV or Fire TV Cube, connected to your TV and to the internet.
- Your StrimoIPTV login. Order on WhatsApp; the team confirms the plan and how to pay, and the login arrives by e-mail: a server URL, username and password (Xtream Codes), plus an M3U link. Check your spam or junk folder too.
- Or a free trial. You can ask for the 24-hour free trial on WhatsApp first, with no payment and one per household, and add the trial playlist the team sends you on WhatsApp to your player the same way.
- For 4K: a 4K-capable Fire TV model and a 4K TV. 4K is available on supported channels; on an HD stick, you watch in HD.
To see which model you have, open Settings, then My Fire TV, then About.
Method 1: install XCIPTV or IBO Player Pro from the app store
Try this first. It's the simplest route.
- From the Fire TV Home screen, go to Find, then Search.
- Type "XCIPTV" or "IBO Player Pro".
- If the app appears, select it and install it.
- Open it from your Apps list and go to the login steps below.
If neither player appears in the store on your device, use Method 2.
Method 2: Downloader and the APK link from the team
When a player isn't in the store, the StrimoIPTV guide installs it with Downloader, an app you'll find through the same Fire TV search.
- Search for Downloader and install it.
- Message the StrimoIPTV team on WhatsApp and ask for the player's APK link. Use only the link the team sends you; don't type an address you found in a comment section or a video.
- Open Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options and turn on Apps from Unknown Sources, so Downloader is allowed to install the player. If you're asked to choose an app, pick Downloader.
- Open Downloader, enter the link from the team, and let it download the player.
- Select Install when Fire TV asks, then Open.
Once the player is installed, you can turn "Apps from Unknown Sources" off again. It's only needed to install apps from outside the store.
If Developer Options doesn't appear under My Fire TV on your model, message the team on WhatsApp and say which Fire TV device you have.
Signing in to XCIPTV with your StrimoIPTV login
Your e-mail gives you everything the player needs. In XCIPTV or IBO Player Pro:
- Choose the Xtream Codes login (it may be labelled "Xtream Codes API" or "XC login").
- Enter any name for the profile.
- Type the username, password and server URL from the e-mail, exactly as written. They're case-sensitive, and a stray space before or after a field causes a login error. The server URL starts with http:// or https://.
- Sign in and wait for the channels and the TV guide to load. The first load of the guide can take a while.
The Xtream Codes login is the one the guide uses on Fire TV. It loads live TV, movies, series and the EPG together, and it gives a better TV guide than the M3U link. A common question is how to get an XCIPTV username and password: they don't come from the app. They're your StrimoIPTV login details, sent by e-mail once your order is confirmed. For more on the formats in that e-mail, see our M3U playlist and Xtream Codes guide.
After the login: what you get on Fire TV
With the player signed in, you browse StrimoIPTV the way you browse any TV menu:
- Live TV: more than 19,000 channels from 60+ countries in 24 regional groups, such as USA, USA without PPV, Canada, United Kingdom, Latino and India.
- On demand: shows and films you can start whenever you like.
- Sports: soccer, basketball, American football, MMA and boxing, motorsport, cricket and tennis, as live sports and events.
- TV guide: what's on now and over the next 2–3 days.
Content and availability can vary by region. A VPN is not required; if a VPN causes connection problems, switch it off first.
Fixing an empty TV guide on your Firestick
An empty or wrong guide is one of the most common questions after a new setup. Work through these in order:
- Give the first load time. The guide can take a while to fill the first time.
- Refresh the EPG in the player's settings.
- Set the date and time to automatic in the Fire TV settings. A wrong clock shifts the whole guide.
- Use the Xtream Codes login rather than the M3U link, since it gives a better guide.
Other Fire TV problems and quick fixes
| Problem | What to try |
|---|---|
| "Invalid login" | Retype each field by hand; check upper and lower case and spaces. |
| No channels load | Refresh the playlist, restart the app, or remove the login and add it again. |
| The picture stutters | Use an Ethernet adapter rather than Wi-Fi if you can, close background apps, restart the stick and your router, or watch in HD rather than 4K. |
| The app crashes | Update the app and the Fire TV software, or reinstall the app; still crashing, try the other player. |
| The stick feels slow | Uninstall apps you no longer use and keep one player rather than several. |
Still stuck? The StrimoIPTV team answers on WhatsApp 24/7. Every device guide, Fire TV included, is on the setup page.
One StrimoIPTV login for more than one screen
Have a Fire TV Stick in the living room and an iPad or a Samsung TV elsewhere? You use the same StrimoIPTV login on each device, and your plan sets how many can watch at the same time, from 1 to 5. On other devices the guide names other players, such as IPTV Smarters Pro on Apple devices; see our IPTV Smarters Pro guide.
Plans are paid once in US dollars, with no auto-renewal and no hidden fees. On one device: $13.99 for 1 month, $34.99 for 3 months, $59.99 for 6 months, $99.99 for 12 months, or $169.99 for 24 months, which is 49% less than paying the monthly price 24 times. Every device count is on the subscription page.
Conclusion: StrimoIPTV and XCIPTV on Fire TV
Setting up StrimoIPTV on a Firestick comes down to three steps: install XCIPTV or IBO Player Pro from the store, or with Downloader and the link the team sends you; sign in with the Xtream Codes login from your e-mail; and let the TV guide load. Want to see it on your own Fire TV before you pay? Ask for the 24-hour free trial on WhatsApp, then pick a plan on the subscription page.
FAQ
What is XCIPTV?
XCIPTV is a third-party IPTV player app for Fire TV and Android. It has no channels of its own: it plays what a provider's login opens, such as a StrimoIPTV subscription with its live channels, on-demand library and TV guide.
Is XCIPTV free?
The price of a player is set by its developer, not by us, so check the app before you install it. IBO Player Pro, the other player the guide names for Fire TV, asks for a one-time payment to its developer. No player licence is included in a plan.
How do I install the XCIPTV player on a Firestick?
Search for it in the Fire TV app store. If it isn't there, install Downloader, turn on "Apps from Unknown Sources" under Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options, and use the APK link the StrimoIPTV team sends you on WhatsApp.
How do I get an XCIPTV username and password?
They come from your provider, not from the app. With StrimoIPTV, the server URL, username and password arrive by e-mail after your order on WhatsApp; enter them in the player's Xtream Codes login.
How do I use XCIPTV after signing in?
Pick live TV, movies or series from the main menu, open a channel group, and choose a channel or title. The TV guide shows what's on now and over the next 2–3 days; refresh the EPG in the settings if it looks empty.
Want to try StrimoIPTV?
Get the 24-hour free trial on WhatsApp (no payment needed), or pick a plan: 1, 3, 6, 12 or 24 months for 1 to 5 devices, from $13.99, paid once.
